I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good knife and cutlery store in Orlando,FL area. I have been to the "Knife Outlet" at Bells mall. Also I have found a store in the Florida mall, but the prices are insane! They have a really good selection, but very expensive. Does anyone know of any other places to go? Thanks!:D

Rugger said it. You might even be able to get a tour of the Randall factory. I did it about 18-20 years ago and it was well worthwhile.

Thanks for the response! I have checked out the Randall site before, and he has some real pieces of work. I'm just more into factory folders(BM,Spyderco,CRKT,and Cold Steel). Does anyone know of some good stores that carry a good selection of these?

I've been thru Orlando trying to find a decent cutlery store and I keep going back to Ruff's Saddle Shop and Knife Sales in Umatilla. Drop Frank an e-mail and ask for a catalog. I believe you'll find the drive worth it after you see their prices.

Their e-mail addy is:

cutrope@aol.com

BTW, I don't work for or with them, I'm just a very satisfied customer.;)

They are located at 1460 E. SR 436 suite A in Altamonte Springs, not far from 17-92 and not all that far from I-4.
Yhey have a ton of factory folders & fixed blades in stock.
I bought a microtech LCC/MA there for $158.95 back in May.
They have a *huge* selection of knives.
Last time I peeked in there they had a few sebenzas in stock, too.
Their phone is 407-261-0551 & they are open tues-sat 10am - 5 pm

Hey, thanks alot guys! Those are two I've never heard of. Altamonte is only about a 15 minute drive so I'll check that out this weekend:cool:

I called up Knives-A-Lot in Altamonte, and they have a huge selection! I'll be stopping in this weekend. They have the Benchmade 805 Tsek for 115.00(about thirty dollars less than MSRP! he also said he sharpens your blades for 2 bucks a pop. Thanks again for the lead!:D

This is excellent to know. Now I know where I will be visiting next time in Orlando.

Although, I will NOT go to Disneyland after going to Knives-a-Lot! :D

I've been to Knives-A-Lot. They have a nice selection but I paid $135.00 for my lg. Microtech LCC/MA at Ruff's.
Paid $108.95 for my PE Spydie Chinook, $101.95 for PE Military, $35.95 for lg. PE Timberline Worden Tactical, etc. etc.

Pretty decent for a B&M I think.
