Hi guys,

I'm currently in the market for a Strider SMF, anyone knows of a reputable online store to buy from... better yet a store based in Canada so I don't have to deal with our crazy customs.

If no reseller available this side of the border any US online store that accepts paypals and ships fast.

thanks!

p.s: Any place on the forum where people are selling used Striders... might be a second option!

Knifeart.com sells striders

I've ordered from them multiple times, they're reputable.

DUH!

Neil Ostroff is the original Strider representation in the Great White North, hoser!

Like there is even a question, eh?

Best Regards,

Heh thanks mate!

Edit : Wow hit the nail with a HAMMER on that one, store is even located in my hometown! Its a few min by car! No shipping charges for this guy! Thanks again!

While I haven't purchased any Striders, I am a longtime customer of Neil at TNK. He is the best dealer in Canada in my opinion. He'll set you up right.

also, if one were to attend any of the CKG shows in Mississauga held twice yearly, Neil is usually there and has Strider knives available.

Yeah that's a good way to empty the wallet with special customs too :)! Was now also looking at some Chris Reeve knives... some really nice models! Too bad most of his knives are back ordered ... unless you are left handed or love tanto :(

What I'd like to know is why do you want to purchase a production folder when there are so many fine custom makers in Canada?

Just starting collecting tactical folders, I'm sure there are a lot of them I do not know yet. Just going by the most praised brands. Also, don't want to spend above 500$, so didn't think there were many true customs of quality above and beyond the Sebenza and Strider runs in that price range....

Make sure whoever you buy from that they thoroughly check the knife for any issues before they send it. I got one with problems(which happens to people pretty often due to their QC) and trying to get it fixed through Strider was a nightmare.

Really? One would think their quality department would be bullet proof at that price range. And wasn't strider supposed to fix any problems no questions asked?

Strider doesn't move too fast, but they took care of me. Turned a tiger striped SNG into a stone washed model, and fixed the pivot for me. Mick took care of it personally for me. I haven't done business with TNK, but I know I won't have any when I do.
