Evening folks,

I've been scouring the internet and the forum searching for santoku blade blanks. The Zhen knife kits are easy to find but I'm hoping to find a blank with a stick tang like some of the traditional santoku's I've seen.

Any leads?

thanks

are you looking for something already beveled and heat treated to put a handle on?

Ah, yes I should have specified that. I could put a bevel on a blade myself but I'd rather not, and I definitely can't do any heat treating. What I need is a finished blade that just needs a handle.

I have a couple in 440c tucked back. Shoot me a PM or email if interested.

Dictum in Germany sells raw blanks and finished blades.

Several of the knife suppliers sell stick tang finished Japanese blades. IIRC, a few sell stick tang blanks. Of course, you could have them water jet cut by someone.

There are a couple blades listed there that I like. Unfortunately they're not in stock and more expensive than I was hoping for but good options nonetheless if they get more in stock at some point. Thanks for the link.
