I'm not a lawyer, and I only took a few minutes to look, but I'm pretty sure Ohio forbids the sale of automatic knives and balisongs to non-LEOs:

(A) No person shall...
(3) Manufacture, possess for sale, sell, or furnish to any person other than a law enforcement agency for authorized use in police work, any brass knuckles, cestus, billy, blackjack, sandbag, switchblade knife, springblade knife, gravity knife, or similar weapon...

and consequently you're probably going to fall under the 'deadly weapon other than a handgun' clause if you carry one. (This isn't even checking municipal codes.)

The Halo's certainly the coolest, but if you can't buy one...

That leaves the Maxx, but I'd be pretty wary of carrying a 6" folding dagger in most places, too! That's going to get some attention if a cop decides to take a look.

How about a Spyderco Delica? ;)
