it'll take the house catching on fire to get me outside this morning.
Sage 1. Bought this used here. It was in rough shape and fairly neglected (rust in the liners, filthy under the scales, other issues). It cleaned up pretty well and is one of my favorite EDC knives. I carry this more often than my Sage 5. I'll reprofile the edge some day to get it even.

Got the Dragonfly today, but I've been rotating through these three for the last week or two. Trying to carry more of my smaller Spydies lately, such useful little cutting tools!

That is a great steel to put to work.
(Warning: editorial on sharpening follows.) I didn't carry my Maxamet native for a long time because I was worried about having to sharpen it based on many reports of sharpening issues. It finally occurred to me that I was being an idiot - what's the point of having it if I'm afraid to sharpen it? I put it on the edge pro Edge Pro and great results with Shapton Glass stones and amazing results with the EP diamond stones. Maxamet sharpens easily with the right stones and takes an amazing polished edge if desired. And that blade shape lends itself to a guided sharpener quite well. This is awesome EDC that stays wickedly sharp for a long time.
