I ask cause I’m wanting to do something of the sort myself, looks awesome. Do it yourself?
Yup did it all myself. The dying and the grinding. Nothing fancy, took it to the bench grinder to grind the tip down, grinding only for a couple seconds at a time, then dipping in water as to not screw with the heat treat.
Then did all the rest on a lansky controlled angle. 20° per side for the tip, and 17 per side on the belly. Tip still fits hidden in the scales.
