The right way to approach this would have been "Ok, I was wrong, I shouldn't have done this, and this isn't the place for it. I made a mistake. On further reflection, there shouldn't be any of it here at all." Mike, be a man and take responsibility for your own actions. The more you try to wiggle out of when your own deeds are thrown back at you, the more humorous it is. Don't try to weasel out of it, be a man, take the hit and move on. You weaken the other aspects of your argument by doing this.

The essential question is, does this forum need to be here? The answer, apparrantly, is that the membership is more or less evenly divided on keeping it or ditching it, not that it's a scientific poll or anything. So, as usual, the Solomon-like ruling falls again to me. I'll make my final decision on this in a few more days.
