White Micarta Buck 124

I've read over several threads regarding 124's with white handles.
Most of the old threads have broken links to the photos that were posted at the time.
Some don't and I've been able to gather quite a bit of info from them.

I recently acquired a 124 with white micarta handle, thick square shape. It exhibits small fissures on the thin edges like others I saw posted.

When compared the the white corian 124 I have, it is noticeably more off white, like ivory.

It differs from the ones I've seen posted in a few ways.

It has a three line stamp without date code and the blade finish is not polished, it's a standard finish.

The box it came with is a one piece box and the paperwork inside has what I believe is a 1981 date format on it.
One end of the box has what looks like glue where there might have been a sticker on it at some point, or it could simply be storage marks.

The sheath is what I believe to be an early snoopy style. The snap has BUCK and is not a 3 BUCK snap.

I see no signs of it being a re-handle but I know there's some talented folks out there so, anything's possible.

I'd like to get some opinions from others.

Yours is the white paper micarta as identified by the yellowing and age fissures.
A wonderful find.

I have both paper micarta and corian. They are date code 1990 (X) and mirror polished.
Yours must predate them.

That checking almost makes it look like real ivory.
