White river knife fire craft 3.5 vs m1 backpacker

Have a $125 gift grad from Duluth. Not looking to pickup any more clothes as I have a bunch as is. Was looking at the knives they had available and narrowed it down to these 2.
fire craft 3.5 or m1 backpacker

Have a Bradford guardian 3 and 4 currently. Was looking for something to add to a get home bag. Maybe edc if I went the backpacker.

I'd go with the FC because it has an actual handle. I don't care for things wrapped in paracord. I had a FC5 at one point and it was an excellent knife in terms of design. I just didn't care for s35vn in a fixed blade.

If i went backpacker i would buy the scales. they offer them as a add on. I dont like the paracord either

One I referenced was the FC 3.5 Pro (with the G10 handle scales).

I like the look of the Backpacker, but it is a bit Guardian looking, which you say you already have. But if it's between the two, that's the one I'd pick.
