Who are the best UK and European custom knife makers?

I’m after something quite large (12-16”) and preferably in 3V. Who are the best UK and European custom knife makers to talk to, seeing as options are limited and already expensive?


Any help would be much appreciated. Knife-lovers vouching for the heat treatment and finish of a custom maker are a great sign of quality.

The only reason I’m not looking at stuff from the US is because I recently got caught out. I got around £60 off a semi-custom Bradford Guardian 4.5 on Black Friday, then got stung £53 for ‘customs tax’ by my local post office!


I’ve bought plenty of things from the US before and never had to pay that.
