Whoever buys it?

IMO, it is a great piece, but cannot rationalize the price. Even if Ihad the money I could not carry it. Seems to me this would defeat the purpose of this piece.
 
I guess the same statement could be made when it comes to a lowly Glock M17 Vs. a tricked out 1911 Clone.

Don, I agree to a point. But I don't think that point is close to $1k. After you get to a point all the extra cash goes into refinement, name brand, looks, etc. and does not really add any benefit as far as functionality.
 
If you haven't already noticed...I probably should not mention this here, but, I see someone is practicaly giving one of these away over in the custom knives for sale area. but you didn't hear it from me.
