Who has had experience using Delrin as a washer material?

Hi there, I read ages ago here, like 8 years or more some discussion on the various washer types for folders but never ever came across anyone using Delrin as a washer material. I know from usage on bike parts and sailing equipment, Delrin can withstand great compressive forces and provide at the same time good reduction in friction for metal parts such as axels rotating through Delrin bushes; and was wondering if anyone has experimented with this or there are knife manufacturers using Delrin?

PTFE (Teflon) has a much lower coefficient of friction (about 1/10 that of Delrin). So, I don't see a benefit to using Delrin for plastic washers.

To answer your direct question, I am unaware of anyone using Delrin for knife washers.

Having used Delrin parts a lot back in my paintball days, I am sure it would do fine. A paintball gun is cycling extremely fast and a lot (I mean, an average practice would be 4,000 rounds shot). People really overthink the knife washer/bearing thing. A pocket knife literally makes half a revolution and people love to complain about what is aiding that half revolution.
