I have always carried traditional folders or Spyderco products, but I had a couple damaged tips this year while doing fairly mundane tasks with my older knives. I have no problem putting my knives to good use, but it always makes me sad to damage a blade. As far as I can tell, Spyderco unfortunately doesn't offer to sell replacement blades, and changing the blade on an old slip-joint presents its own challenges.
Which leads me to my question. Which manufacturers will sell a replacement blade to you? Who allows disassembly without voiding the warranty? I understand that I likely won't be able to change the blade at home due to fitment issues, but it would be nice to disassemble a knife for cleaning.
Who fits the bill? CRK?
