Why the crazy sheaths?

simple answer: why not?
people are sometimes spending hundreds if not thousands on knives and tools... why not go crazy on the sheaths? be it highly stylish tooled leather with exotic inlay or a tactical/survival backpack to strap to your leg...

Yep. It's like buying a $1400 Colt 1911 and then sticking it in a cheap foam and suede, $16 Uncle Mike's holsters.....
