Will this adapter allow clamping up smaller pocket knives like say mid size or smaller case stockman’s?

It depends. It's far better for full flat grinds as kitchen knives are. What you can do is take the handle off the knife and use the bezel. It is not easy and you should get the front support for the base if you plan to do that. I only use it for kitchen knives that are thin because it will never slip when you tape them to keep scratches away, and kitchen knives are thin so they don't work well with my force if I use the regular clamps. Make sense?

BTW HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR WICKED EDGE?

Mine works pretty good. The only blade that I have trouble with are the spey blades. In the photo I have the sheepsfoot blade of my Buck 301 clamped up with my LAA using 12" guide rods.

... allows you to set a pretty low angle too.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but if you tape a short piece of a cable tie (75 lb size) to the spine of the knife, you can raise it another 3/16″ in the LAA. I have used this approach hundreds of times, and it works. It gives the knife something to rest on while you find the sweet spot and clamp the knife.

I just put a slim strip of blue painters tape on the blades and hold it so that there's just enough blade for the LAA to grab onto it with. One of these days I'll get one of those Tormek clamps.

I ordered myself one of them. It should be here tomorrow. With it I'll be able to clamp my TV cable knife that I use for leather into my WE130 and put a better edge on it that can get by hand.

I just received my Tormek SVM-00 small knife holder jig awhile ago. In a little while I'll clamp up my leather knife using the Tormek jig into my Wicked Edge 130 and put some perfect angles on it. Then I'll see how it works for the spey blade of my Buck 301.

^If you don't mind, when you get a chance share a couple pics with us of this adapter with a small blade clamped into it. Interested to see how it works and what your low-angle options are.

Ok. Give me a few minutes and I'll add a couple photos.
Here you go: I have my leather knife clamped up in it. One side was exactly 16dps and the other side was a little more obtuse, so I am reprofiling it to 16dps to match the other side.

In the photo of this post, I have my Buck 301 clamped into the Tormek. I have the Tormek bar in the top holes of the WE vise. In the above photos of my leather knife I have the Tormek bar in the bottom holes of the WE vise.
I am reprofiling the spey blade to 19dps. I checked to see how low I could reprofile it if I wanted to, and that was 12dps. That isn't too bad considering how close the knife is to the WE vise. With a taller blade I could get much lower angles.
After I took the photo, I had to move the Buck forward in the Tormek clamp some because my stones were touching the end of the Tormek bar as I was reprofiling the tip of the spey blade.
