William Henry Attache, B15 model

Me like me want....mighty impressive.

hehe, now Earl, don't you go giving those knives the evil eye...;)

But I truly know what you mean, that's how I felt when I saw Ann_dem's
forsale post, her photographs were a bit lacking, but I know how the quality
is on the William Henry knives, I've own a LOT of them over the years
here is a scan I did a long time ago of my collection, all are gone now to
'good' homes :( and of course I miss them, my favourite use to be the Lancet
but when I saw the B15 shape and size, I knew I had to find one, and now
as luck would have it, I've two!

I laid the knives on my flat bed scanner and it turned out not half bad;

there were a few more after these but now, I've only the two above that
are from William Henry...

WOW... what is the 5th one down...jigged bone?
And the bottom one.
I'm assuming the white are Ivory.
Carbon fiber and some other impressive wood 6th down.

Aye, that'd be Jigged bone alright and the 6th one down was some
very nice Ironwood scales, all were very smooth and sharp.
The last one has what was known as Fishtail Oak wood scales, quite nice too!

The white are ivory micarta, but still nice, and they have sterling
silver inlays on the bolsters and beautiful Opal inset into the thumbstud :(
I really miss those two!

Well it will be a while before I can get one,I have too many knife deals working with my Buck habit this month.
I will try and get one next month though.
I have been on the William Henry site a couple of times and on some
web site that has them in stock.I can't remember but have it in my favorites at work.I will check them out tomorrow.

I know how that goes! And, while they have a great line up of knives
I love the cut and line of this knife, as you can see compared to a small
Sebenza, the point is slightly lower allowing more straight cutting edge
for routine cutting chores with a small slight upsweep near the tip, also
the handle is long enough for most people, those with large hands may
find that none of the WH line will work for them, I've moderate to small
hands and this one, like the third bowl of porridge, is just right :)

I hand posted a wanted to buy, if you did so, you also may find someone
that would be willing to part with theirs too.

Ok...what I used for the beads for the one knife, they were extra bits from when I was changing out my spark plugs the other day, the new platinum spark plugs came with an extra cap for some reason and thought Hmmm I could probably use this somehow and stuck them in my pocket.
When I put the anodized titanium beads on that William Henry had sent me for the fancy folder, I thought what could I use for the worker model....Ah and reached in my pocket and those were just great! smooth, polished and about the right size.
Now when I reach for the knife from the sheath, I loop my pinky around those beads and pull the knife clear.
How they are retained? I cut a slice of leather in a longish triangle and pulled that through until it made the bead lock up on the leather fob, and then very very carefully I sliced the triangle even with the ends of the metal, slipping a piece of paper beneath so as not to go too deep...turned out very handy, so you pack rats out there, don't throw anything away, you can always use it some day ;)

I called the Tom Brown Tracker school today, saw the phone number at the end of the write up, and spoke with a nice lady there, she said they no longer have a folder, they use to sell them according to the write up, but she said no longer, and didn't know much about them at all or why they are no longer made with the Tom Brown signature and paw print, mysteries eh?

HEhe, close, they are tips from spark plugs! the Bausch platinums come with
extra tips, that are already polished up, worked great!
