I am Christmas shopping. Looking at a Wilson Combat folder with 1911 grips.

But it costs $350. Thgis is right up there with some other premium knife makers. What is the reputation for WC knives?

I just looked at the WC site - the only knife I saw was a black SAK Tinker.
From what I recall, their knives were mostly (if not exclusively) made by known makers, and engraved with the WC starburst pattern. The only ones I recall offhand were CRK and Les George.

I saw it on e-Bay, but it is gone now.

Was thinking of a cool gift for x-mas and a matching set pf knife and gun grips seemed like one idea. Something he could casually show-off when out with his brothers-in-law.

Maybe a less than well known branded kn ife would do the job.

Had one years ago. Very well made and hard to find. There are other makers that do the 1911 grip knife but I think the WC was the nicest one.

WC also did a run with Fox knives with the Extreme Light Carry series, but now discontinued.

Came in Elmax and n690. Had a couple g10 liner lock color variants as well as a titanium frame lock version iirc. Though most of these retailed around the $150 mark for the g10's. Not sure what secondary prices are now..
