I saw these and after a little resaearch I decided I had to have one. So when mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas I sent a her a link to this beauty. But given it was ordered a little late and the terrible speed of USPS I just got it today. (Near 2 week wait) and oh lord was this little jem worth the wait. I can't belive I don't see more about these. Mine is in the bad@$$ camo g10 handles and in n690 steel. First impressions are amazing; perfect fit and finish, good ergonomics and handles providing great traction. And this the sharpest knife I have ever received out of the box. The knife came very tight out of the box but very smooth, made even better after some hoppes elite oil. The coating on the blade is shinier than I expected but much smoother than the coating on my spyderco manix. It came in a small Wilson combat pouch which was a nice touch and I ordered a matching fde/black Wilson combat lanyard. These are made by Fox in Italy and I definitely plan on buying the titanium/elmax variation or maybe go fancy and get the cocobolo wood and Damascus version. My only complaint is that the pocket clip looks a little boring so I plan on making a new one out of titanium. Overall recommend yall check these out!

Nice knife, Bro...and Merry Christmas. It's cool that your Mom got something you asked for rather than socks and underwear :p.

I have a Wilson Combat Star Tac and definitely prefer it over the standard handle grind of the CRK Umnanzaan. I've looked at the ELC a few times and always held off because of the clip and the handle thickness. I try to keep my handle thickness on EDC knives at less than 0.6". Do you know how thick the ELC is? That cocobolo with damascus is a sharp looking knife, I may have to look at an ELC again!

Enjoy!

I do not off hand but it is rather chunky. I carry mine on my wheelchair seat belt so thankfully I don't notice it.

Thanks guys! I'm ready to put it to use and see if it will replace my manix 2 ffg. (Which would be quite the accomplishment)
