I have a heavily modified Winkler II Bontoc - black blade finish, rubber handles. There is no box or paperwork. This is a blade designed by a Filipino martial artist with that end use in mind. That being said - this is truly a multi purpose blade. The mods were made to streamline the knife - making for easier carry. The sheath is ambidextrous, with a snap loop that can be mounted on either side. I cut and sanded it down, eliminating the grommets, and drilled and stitched it with artificial sinew. It's felt lined as well to minimize the wear to the finish and enhance retention.
I sanded the rubber scales down to minimize the grip. It still fits the hand nicely while keeping a lower profile on the belt or in the waistband.
The finish shows some wear - mostly from the sheath prior to felt lining.
The knife has been used and sharpened.
This is a great performing, purpose driven knife.
$360 shipped. CONUS only.
