So I just got the Work Sharp professional precision adjust, rolling knife sharpener, and Ken onion belt sharpener. With the precision adjust or the rolling does anyone know of using oil on the diamond stones would help. I have the lansky guided rod and it came with oil for the diamond stones so it just made me wonder about the diamond stones for the precision adjust. Also does anyone know if any companies make stones that work with the precision adjust that are different grits, like maybe finer grits.
I'm still predominantly going to use my whetstones because it always felt very cathartic to clear my mind and just sharpen, but when I don't have much free time or of my girl needs to touch up a blade she can use something easier than freehand.

The User's Guide says:
"Do NOT Use Oil when sharpening! Small amounts of water can be applied to the abrasive when sharpening
if desired, but not required."

Hapstone makes a "Universal Stone Holder for Professional Precision Adjust". Go to the Gritomatic web site and search for HAPSTONE-RXSTHOLDER-PPA. I have one and use it occasionally.

There is a company that makes an attachment so you can use other stones.
