I have and old WW2 Queen Cutlery diving knife. This knife has a strong blade about 4 inches long that says divers knife on it and it has a metal handle and a piece of steel also about the length of the blade that fits in at a vertical angle through the steel handle. It fits down in and there is no screw to hold this piece into the handle and no place I can see for it. What do I need to reassemble this knife as the blade is on just fine and what is this extra piece of metal for? It is not a blade.
