Hey guys, so im looking to buy used books on metallurgy. Not only am I looking to get a better understanding of the metals used in knives and tools for my own work, but you could call it an "investment." I'm currently looking for internships for the summer in material science and metallurgy, and I figure reading every book I can get my hands on seems like a reasonable way to get a leg up.

Unfortunately, the books are quite pricey new, so I'm looking to buy used. If anyone wants to sell a used metallurgy books at what we can agree is a reasonable price, please let me know!

Any of these, or general metal shop and technique books. Please let me know if you would like to sell!

Metallurgy Fundamentals by Daniel A. Brandt and J. C. Warner

Material Science and Metallurgy by U.C Jindal

Metallurgy by B.J Moniz

Metallurgy for the Non-Metallurgist by Arthur C. Reardon "Really hoping to find this one!"

Hardening, Tempering and Heat Treatment (Workshop Practice)

The Master Bladesmith: Advanced Studies In Steel

Thanks for your time guys!

Thanks for your Very informative posts on woods. Consider this me trying to repay our collective debt.

That one has been a college text for a long time.

You can get the old editions very cheaply, used to be on amazon, but get on the used university and college book trading lists.
