So, I saw this and liked the design. I wonder what the steel is?

Z sure did a comprehensive job with that tool.

As to what it's like, I'd expect the performance to be similar to that of 420HC. The composition is in that ballpark.

You're right. It's a pretty thing, for sure.
 
I found that site late last night, actually - lots of info. :)

If it's like 420HC, that isn't bad - I believe the small Buck 5-series knives are made with that, like the Knight and Squire, and those are nice blades.
 
I really like the looks, but how the heck can a folder have "Full Tang construction" ?! :confused:

Do they just mean full steel liners?
 
I like the looks also. I think they got the specs off a little though;

HA! Good Catch!

I likewise think they took some of the wording from the description of a Chef's knife. A description writer is normally hired for his writing abilities, not his knowledge of the item being described.
