XM-18 and XM-24 Knives - Generations, History and General Information

Great info here.

I wouldn't be afraid to try out their s35v. Seems as though they hear treat it where it's supposed to be. Curious how long it hold its edge.

The edge holds very well on all the steels Hinderer uses. I only need to really work on the edge after the blade comes in contact w/ concrete and such. Aside from that, very basic edge maintence keeps them sharp or at least functionally sharp.
