You know, in November of 1986, Schrade placed this ad for the Sharpfinger and LB7 in Field & Stream magazine.

"Schrade knives are as tough as you are, America. And, brother, you don't get any tougher than that."

To do the set up that ad must have been set in early 1986.Notice the 3 pin handle on the LB7.It seems to be earlier than everyone says.Arnold
 
I did notice the guy holding the knife must not have used a knife very much.He's holding it so low on the handle one of his fingers isn't on the handle.Arnold
