With everything going on and all the stress and shutdowns, I can’t imagine I’m the only one that bit the bullet and started a project I’ve been thinking about trying for a while. I’ve seen some pretty cool things guys and gals have made around here from mods to carvings to boats even, so let’s see them. Here’s mine, an 86 serpentine split back whittler spare parts knife

It definitely will still need a lot of tweaking and refining over time but I think it’ll come together. I started it because I wanted to get some blade modding practice in. I’ll probably work on it slowly over the next couple months in between other projects.

The whittler is coming along and looks good! Enjoy the project. :) Make sure to post finished photos.

Even my indoor pistol range, which I frequented once or twice every week, has been forced to close, so I've been busy cleaning guns and reloading. I have filled every ammo box I have; between 41 and 44 magnums and 45 Colts I have about 800 rounds of centerfire ammo loaded up and ready to go. Next, I will most likely go through all my knives and give them a little TLC, and maybe take some new photos, sunshine permitting (and believe me, it's been scarce lately!).

Nice work J jsdistin  I've got no shortage of projects I need to get on with, including this one

Some interesting looking ones in there, and thanks!

Put together a rough transitional rapier/smallsword and started trying to make sense of the La Verdadera Destreza (spanish fencing style).

Just a reminder...
This is the "traditional" forum and that knife isn't. ;)

Yep, let's keep it traditional, please.

Doh! Sorry guys, I did not do that on purpose...I can’t even retake the photo cause I ate the “project”.
Oh wait! She made more than one!
Again, my apologies...will update.

Again not a project, but this is serious. Like everybody I was aware of the movement that started in Napoli consisting of applauding the Nurses, Doctors and all Caregiver. everyday at a fixed time.
This evening at 8pm it was the turn of my street to join the movement. I am impressed.
