Your opinion...What are the top 5 "must own" spydercos?

I didn't own any Spydercos until a little over a month ago, now I have five.

In order of purchase:
Ulize
Native DLC Black serrated
Civilian
Paramilitary2, black on black
Waved Matriarch2

Am surprised how well a fully-serrated blade cuts. I think it cuts better than plain blades, I might be wrong but it sure seems that way.

Called Spyderco today to see if I could get a fully-serrated Endura4 with an orange handle, and the lady said I'd have to buy 500 of them at wholesale rates.

Anyone want to chip in on the other 498? I'd keep two. :)

PM2
Sage of some sort
Native (my fav light edc/ secondary)
Dragonfly
Tenacious (because everyone should have one on value alone)

Hmm
I can only do a top 3 right now in good conscience

Para 2
Sage 1
Southard

Assuming we're talking about locking folders, I'd say one of each common lock type. Of the major ones that I would consider :

Ball bearing (Dodo, Manix2, Poliwog)
Lockback (Dragonfly, Delica, Calypso)
Liner lock (Military, Bradley, Sage)
Frame lock (Southard, Domino, Tuff)
Compression lock (Paramilitary2, Yojimbo2, Junior)

I'd probably try to get a good variety of blade steels and handle materials between them as well.

Manix 2 S90V ... keeper EDC!

Paramilitary 2 ... keeper EDC!

Atlantic Salt ... full serrated... sailing knife.

Stretch CF ZDP-189 ... sold!

Delica 4 ZDP-189 ... might be for sale.

Gayle Bradley (2) ... sold!

Para 2
Delica/Endura/Stretch (just one of the frn knives doesn't matter, they all rock)
Tenacious
Any of the Sage series
Domino/Southard (gotta have a flipper in the list)

More of a generic 5 list but to each his own. I gave room for personal taste haha.

Just a cross section of what I see as some of the best Spydercos:

Military
Street Beat
Tuff
Tenacious
Rock Salt

In no particular order:
Street Beat
Paramilitary 2
Caly 3
MuleTeam (pick your version...)
Manix (the big one)

From the ones I have (in no particular order):

PM2
Military (mine is of the titanium variety)
Chaparral
Southard
Stretch

For me it is impossible to boil all of Spyderco down to 5 knives. So instead I put together groups of knives that I think cover many of the bases for Spydie collecting. This does leave a lot of wiggle room for personal preference, while sticking to somewhat specific categories.

Paramilitary 2, it is such an outstanding knife that it easily singles itself out.

Any Seki-City FRN handled knife of your choice, they are all great and are many people's first introduction to Spyderco. That is why they should be in everyone's collection.

A higher-end Taichung made knife be it a Sage, Techno, Domino, or Southard; they are all excellent.

Something large and US made, pick from among the likes of the Manix 2/Manix 2 XL/Military/Police

Something classy, along the lines of the Chaparral, Caly 3/3.5, or Kopa

- PM2
- Sage
- Dragonfly 2
- Ladybug (everyone needs a keychain knife!)
- Military (Country), Caly 3 (City), Salt 1 (Island)
