I ordered an Endura 4 from them recently because of the Nutnfancy recommendation and it was in stock. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with them because I've only ever ordered through amazon.com before and that was a breeze. Is yourcornerstore.com similar?
IE: Fast shipping, no insecure info problems, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help -Andrew

I had a transaction only a couple of weeks ago. They crossed shipped a knife that was claimed in stock and still I rec'd it within a week. This is probably standard procedure.

Price was good, too. Nothing unusual or bad to report. I'm pleased.

I have purchased from YCS about 5-6 times. They are great. I usually receive my orders within 2-3 business days. I also use the second cheapest shipping method (which is only 5 cents more that the cheapest) -USPS.

I have never had a problem with them and their shipping is the fastest and cheapest I have ever experienced.

I've done quite a bit of searching and reading reviews and comments about online vendors. Never seen a single negative comment about YCS and it is positvely mentioned (usually several times) whenever someone asks for a recommendations.
I never seem to find the great prices there that others do, but they may be just what I'm looking for.

Here are some older threads that may help ya out.

Personally, I'd say I've had an overall good experience with him - a bit hard to get a hold of and had dropped the ball a couple of times with a replacement for me, but he seemed like a genuinely nice guy who had just flubbed up a bit (we're all human afterall). I'd recommend only buying things that definitely are in stock, backordered items seem to be an Achilles's heel with this retailer.

They usually have good prices but sometimes when I preorder knives it takes much longer than their original estimate. But hey they're still good IMO.

I have placed 3 orders with them and they are great! I don't like how every things out of stock all the time though!

Made 3 purchases, 2 of them were horrible experiences. The owner, Mike, did not return phone calls and I had to email him and call him 4 times before he gave me a refund. They charge you on items they don't even have in stock. Most companies wait until they ship an item before they charge your credit card.

He doesn't even really know where the items ship from and if they are in stock. When I check the tracking #s one came from California and another from some other state I don't remember. I asked him where he ships from and he said he has multiple locations. Try calling him to ask to inspect a knife before shipping it out, he won't be able to do it.

I'm still waiting, four weeks after my order was placed and charged, for my order (I had it insured as well). I was told that it was delivered. I sent the owner multiple E-mails, and finally demanded that he either send the knife that I paid for or refund my money. His response was "you'll have to call your post office; it's been delivered".

I notified the post office, and I'm waiting...

Ordered a Condor Bolo machete and sheath both said 4 and 3 in stock respectively, got the sheath 4 days later, 5 weeks later still waiting for the machete, it said "4 in stock" for about 3 days after my order then changed to backordered. If they do have a lot better price than any other site or the only ones with that item, then I'd make sure they have at least 10 in stock.

The problem with YCS is that they don't have any inventory. They rely on a warehouse to ship their goods from CA, they are based in the NE somewhere. That is why they don't always know what they have in stock or may take a long time to deliver. I ordered 1 time and didn't have any problems but some people do.

Everyone always talk price about how good a dealer is. This type of customer service would never happen from some of the other fine dealers we all know. Their pricing may be a tad higher, but they take care of their customers and you would never receive an email stating "you'll have to call your post office; it's been delivered". :jerkit:

i ordered my tenacious from YCS and aside from the order taking longer than 5 days i was very happy. everything was packaged perfectly and arrived in perfect condition. I called them up to find out what the status was and he was very understanding and informative on what was going on. i definitely would buy from them again.

As long as the item is in stock it's pretty good as I've ordered from them before. However, I currently have an order that was placed in December that still hasn't been completed yet due to the backorder being pushed back time-and-time again. I would give it a thumbs up if an item is in stock, but a thumbs down if it's not. He does answer e-mail questions in a timely manner.

Contact you credit card company. YCS has to prove to your CC company that you received your order. Since they shipped via Priority Mail they cannot prove you actually received it. Just showing delivery doesn't mean a thing to your credit card company.
