I have previously ordered from them and had no problems, but this just sucks.

On 03/22/2009 I placed an order for 1 orange military and 1 DMT ultra fine whetstone, I payed for 2day UPS shipping. My order didn't arrive on Tuesday when it should have, so I thought that's fine it will be here tomorrow. Wednesday comes around and still nothing, so I give them a call and they say "your order is being processed". I periodically checked the website through out the week and it was still being processed. That is until today, I got am email from them stating this:

"The comments for your order are: Best best for when this order may ship:
06/30/2009

Your order has been updated to the following status:
New status: Pre-Order"

:mad:

Oh and keep in mind when I first placed my order the website stated both items were in stock and ready to ship.
 
Life is too short to wait for a knife! :D

I buy from the big, reliable dealers. Sometimes I buy from some relative unknown with a decent reputation. Mostly I buy from the Exchange forums and get a used knife in great condition that the previous owner has checked out for defects. I even bought a couple of beat-up users because they were different and I wanted to try out the style.

Buying from each other here is one of the best things about Bladeforums. The only drawback is that the knife you want may not be up for sale when you want it. :p
 
There's been a run on the first Orange Militaries released and all the dealers have ran out very quickly. This will no doubt be improving as more are shipped out.
I read some will be released through June. The best thing to do when you see a site having some in Stock is call them and order, as high demand can have the ones available gone before the site updates. That way you will know for sure if they are going to be able to fill your order.
 
I canceled my order and placed two new ones with different dealers.
It seems like it going good so far, as both my orders have been shipped already.
