So I have a couple of tablets, ipad2, about year +1/2 or so? and a nexus 7. I use them to browse web and read stuff while being lazy in my chair in front of the tv.
anyway, I got on youtube, was looking for some paracord videos for me and my son. Anyway, so I turn the tv on, and I have a wdtv live, I go into the youtube app, and there's this feature, mirror.
Well, well, so in 5 seconds i get it setup, i get back on my tablet and click on video, click pair, then move video to tv queue.
Bam, no fumbling/searching with the crappy wdtv remote, it just plays whatever is in my list on youtube.
I'm a pretty tech savvy guy, but this slipped me for some reason. Guess because I never watched youtube on my tv from the wdtv before.
So anyway, just an fyi, and please no "apple had that ### years ago" fanboys. That's common knowledge.
Had to load up some fpsrussia videos for me and my boy, they looked awesome. I know it's not "mirroring" in the tech sense, but VERy cool feature none the less.
