Z-sere done

Ridge,
All my stuff except the big knives (Missouri and Z-sere) are o-1. I love the stuff. But for a big chopper I can't get it to work well. I'm sure other people can but I can't.
5160 is a spring steel, it does really well with impact sort of applications. It's tough but doesn't hold an edge like o-1.
It's great for big knives I think.

So I guess I lied. I'm gonna finish the z-sere that I've got cut out in 5160. I want to redeem myself for the first one that was a failure. I get crazy like that.
Got it rough ground by doing a little o.t. yesterday evening.

I'll never say never but I can say that these things are enough of a pain to make that I'll probably not be doing anymore in the foreseeable future.
