I am currently working on this knife for a client. It is at Peters HT right now.

Specs:
-9.75 inches blade
-4.75 inch handle
-0.240/0.250 thick. (Milled down from 0.400 via local machinist)
-4.5 inch wide guards, integral.
-Full convex grind.
-Ground for a sharpened clip. Will be sharpened after heat treating.

-weight forward for chopping. But comfortable for camp tasks.

-Z-Tuff PM tool steel.
-will be best treated to 59/60HRC with low temper At PHT for toughness and edge holding.

Will have white G10 handles, and stainless pins.Screenshot_20190529-121653_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20190529-121638_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20190529-121644_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20190529-121717_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20190529-121659_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20190529-121708_Gallery.jpg

Here she is all finished up!
Needs minor adjustments on the handle and a sheath. Then it's done. But the changes wont be seen most likely.

Had to change the edge angle to 25 DPS which is steeper than I would like but the geometry created with the thin edge actually cuts excellent.

Cuts free hanging rope with 0 effort. And blasts through 2x4s.Screenshot_20190727-123218_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20190727-123214_Gallery.jpg
