Love simple, utilitarian designs like that. Is the tang skeletonized? Where is the balance point?

Brummie the balance point is just behind the first pin and the tang is heavily drilled out. It's a heavy weight 10.6 oz's
 
Great knife--looks stout and ready.

Any idea when your next thin slicer will be popping up? I always open Waterstone threads with great interest.
