Since these were next to impossible to find, and all the auctions I ever saw on that e-auction site went for around that (or higher), I'd say jump on it if you have to have the M390 steel version.

204p has .05 more Tungsten and Manganese.

M390 has .10 more Silicon.

That's what's most important really anyway is if it's worth it to you then it's a good deal .

No gamble and no backlash!

ZT offered its customers what they wanted in M390 and now that it's not so readily available in such quantities it's substituting a very similar steel in CTS-204P. That's all!

Aha!! I had thought I noticed a difference in the pattern!!! Both are fantastic really, and I think either one would make a lot of folks happy to own it.

The top is plain weave and the bottom is 2x2 twill. I like the plain weave better but would be OK with either.
