Photos ZT0640 overlays

IMO the 0640 is one of my preferred ZT, but the CF overlays are not really a success

I have replaced the original overlays with new OD Micarta and I like it better

Let’s share your own modifications

The overlays start to darken
Really good looking knife

Finally I kept the original bronze clip which has broken in and at the end I like it too

By the way the whisky is an ileach cask strength and it is a good discovery too

That’s a good mod. It makes more sense for the overlays to have tactful tactical tactility, and micarta is much more emerson-y.

Yes definitively
IMO CF doesn’t go well with Emerson

After some time i have been used to get some rugged g10 and 154cm on Emerson

20cv is great but even a lower steel will have been good

That's a nice mod! I really like that model except for one thing: no wave opener.

I already have a CQC7aw for the collection but I prefer the non-wave
It really prevent my pants to get damaged too quickly
And for what I am concerned, I really like the ergos more that the wave trick

I had a 0630 which I sold and I prefer the non wave 0640 over my previous0630
Although I really enjoyed the excellent 0630 too
