I don’t know what it is about survival sheaths but I think everyone should have one.
These were made for mistresses…
Lost Mountain Iron Works and Paratus Tactical….

Nice setup, but you could have some paracord wrapped between the pouches. As an alternative, some 100# braided fishing line instead.

Kinda eager to see what else is posted. I don’t currently carry anything extra in any of my knife sheaths except for a fire starter in a couple of my Ratmandu sheaths. But I’m open to learning new ideas.

Purification tablets are great, but what do you put them in ? A quart zip-lock bag works well.

Here’s my altoids tin set up
Top to bottom
Water purification with cotton
Bicycle tire tube with razor blade wrapped in knuckle wrap
Magnesium shavings
25 foot 20 pound power pro fishing line sinker, small hooks one large hook




Fishing line. Sinkers, small hooks, one big hook
Small tweezers, safety pins, razor blade, awl,
Strike matches, wax tinder

The sheath on the left will fit a WTF size knife. On the far right was a short run they did for a 8 inch blade knife.

Those are bad to the bone! I bet that 8 inch would hold a TGLB? I need another one for a 10 inch MMD but not sure if they made one to fit it.
It’s a shame that he stopped.
I see why he did, too much work went into this to afford to carry on..

Paratus tactical and LMIW went out of business.
But BB kydex does amazing stuff and he has most knives in house!!
