a few months ago i tried unsuccesfully to trade for one/buy used one - no response - at that time they were relativly new so i figured just not many around - boy the MSRP on the thing is a little high $$ imho, i am not sure i would pay that, though i'm sure its a fine knife - but if ya want one ya better get ready to get it from GGG i never found another source for them, anyway.....

Thanks for the update. I think you are
right. I've had NO response what so ever
except from one of the knife dealer's.
He can get me one, it will just "take a
month or two"
Maby they arn't very popular. Oh well,
maby some day ! And yes they are very expensive,
maby that's the reason no one has one !!!!!

When I checked with GGG, they said it woud take about 60 days to get one made and shipped.

some things are just hard to find i guess - have been looking for a GT manual tanto folder w/plain edge/and or serrations for a while now to buy/trade for etc - again no reponse - wouldnt have thought GT's would be hard to find either .....go figure
