Just got in a cleaver & a roasting fork, from Rick Menefee. He rehandled them & tuned up the edge on the cleaver. These were from my cheffing days

Here's the cleaver before. The fork had some funky black wood pretty much the same as the offset sandwich knife next to it

Here it is in natural micarta. The fork got the paper butterscotch micarta,as on some others he made for me

Here is my spread. The cleaver is in the block. All the custom knives are on the magnet strip. The wife & others here know, the knives on the strip are off limits .

Wow - the handles look great. I've been looking for someone to hook me up with a rehandle on a couple of kitchen knives. Can you shoot me over the contact info and possibly how much you paid.

Also - how do you like the mag strip you are using? I've been thinking about switching to a hanging strip like that for storage and want to get one that is covered in wood like that.

Nice collection of blades you've got there!

Those look great! I have always been fond of that butterscotch micarta.

Thanks Frank.
I can picture one of your BBQ knives in with my herd.
