CPeKlipse!!

All these decades on the planet, and I finally got the chance to experience totality.

REALLY cool.

To my knowledge, I’ve been in the partial zone at least a couple times (probably more, that I was just completely oblivious to).

The 2 times I was aware of it ahead of time, I never even got to look up to even see the partial occlusion.

First time I recall, was when I was just a kid. Brother and I planned to go ride our bicycles, then come home in time to grab our eclipse gear (multiple layers of 35mm film) to view the eclipse.

That never happened, as my brother crashed his bike while we were riding. Popped his elbow out (and had a chunk of glass embedded in his arm. He crashed into a pile of junk). I was more freaked out than he was, running to the closest phone to call an ambulance, and my mom at home.

Was outside during the 2017 partial, but forgot to set an alarm, and missed it completely, because I never noticed the difference from cloud cover.
