I have not seen blue foam in a Benchmade box. And sorry for the cross post. Not sure which forum is the correct one.

1st: never seen blue foam. 2nd: never seen a paper insert like that. 3rd: m390 isn't surgical steel. Do what you'd like with that information but I personally wouldn't touch it.
