This knife features a CruForgeV drop point blade with a full height flat grind and brown linen phenolic handle. It is of rabbeted-tang construction with stainless corby bolts. Blade length is 3-5/8”and overall length is 7-1/16”. Blade is 1-1/16” high at dropped edge, the spine is.165” thick at the ricasso, and the edge is .015” before sharpening. Knife weight without sheath is 3-1/4 oz, and together they weigh just under 6 oz. Balance is at the first bolt.

The blade is hand rubbed to 600 grit, and the handle has been selectively textured or “stippled” as phenolics and Micarta can have a slick finish when highly polished. The texturing improves grip right where you need it in wet conditions. The package includes a RH black sheath of tooled 10 oz. Hermann Oak.

I made this knife as an evolution of my “chore-boy” utility model. While the new version is smaller and the ricasso is now almost nonexistent, maximizing cutting edge length, it’s still got that all-around useful type of profile, for cutting whatever gets in your way out there. It would whittle, slice food, cut rope, harvest flowers for your sweetie etc., equally well. It’s slim and ergonomic, compact and discreet. Backpackers, this knife is light and tough… and the steel offers good edge holding and fine edge stability.

This would also be a nice knife for a lady. The grip fits a smaller hand nicely and overall it’s very lightweight.

All of my knives are shipped with a razor sharp mirror edge.

$240 U.S. Asking price. NOW SOLD.

Price includes shipping to 50 states. I will ship around the world; I just ask that in this case the buyer pay the added shipping costs.

I make knives to the best of my ability and knowledge. I research to find the best materials and methods to use, in order to provide the very best product, in terms of value, durability, performance, and aesthetics. Should you find a knife you have bought from me to be lacking in any of these respects, you may ship it back to me at my expense for a full money-back return.

Should a knife purchased from me fail in materials or workmanship, please ship it back to me at my own expense for your money back in full, or repairs at no cost. It’s your choice.
I will sharpen any of my knives at no cost; however I do ask that you pay for shipping costs for this service.

I am always pleased to hear from any of my customers, past, repeat, potential, or otherwise. Please go to my web site, see "Contact Me" and give me a call. If you have any questions regarding these policies, I'd like to hear them.

I hate being broke when it counts...

Love the stippling. No clue how you did it but it looks great.

Thanks Wade! Did it actually with a rotary tool (think Foredom) and a 3/32 round burr.
I hate being broke when it counts, too. Which is most of the time!
