Hi,
Ive been forced into a position where I have to sell my knives, and I've chosen to sell my CS collection. Of those who've sold knives before, what is your honest opinion about selling in bladeforums vs. ebay or something else?

And Mods, please let me know if I need to move this thread into another part of the forums?
 
eBay is a crapshoot but you can often get higher sale prices. Selling here is great but you need to price competitively or you'll sit on it forever unless it is super rare/collectible.
 
Sorry to hear about your situation. I sell on eBay. And it can be a task. But it is a huge marketplace. Be sure to read, and understand, everything. And ignore the storytellers.
 
They'll sell the fastest on eBay, but you also have to factor the fees involved. A $250 sale might only get you $210. A lower price on a place like the classifieds here could get you more money in the long run.
