M1 Backpacker Pro in Magnacut ?

In for the updates. The rc doesn't bother me as much as an even grind. If it's a limited run I'd pay a little extra if I don't have to reprofile the knife to get 20 DPS. Thank you in advance

I think it will come down to how easy magnacut is to get (which seems like production is going to remain pretty high considering how many makers are using it now, at least for the next couple years) and if it needs anything that is odd to their normal production pace. I'm totally outside and just looking at where it's showing up, and it's kinda doing the same thing that S30V did where it went from "premium" to "well duh" in about 5-7 years, I don't think many other steels have done that. D2 was hot for a couple years, but it's downsides made it not stick around in the upper end of the market, where I think magnacut isn't going to always be the choice for specialists, but it seems to be taking hold of the middle with a pretty solid vengeance, which just means production rate is the only factor.

Yeah they actually just launched an architect knives site. I have a 5.5 in 3v that is very well made. Tops did that one for them

Are these the Architect Knives from the Knife Connection?
I believe so? Not 100% sure, to be honest. Alls I know is that White River seems to be making knives with MagnaCut, which makes me think that an M1 in MagnaCut in 2024 is increasingly likely.

WR knives are really top notch, especially for their reasonable prices. Would love to see them expand a bit more from S-35VN. Magnacut would be fantastic. But I am also a fan of S-35VN so really can't complain too much.

Jeepin, there are some Magnacut m1 backpackers available right now on a French site, I believe. It’s called coutellerie Marcin, and they are only available with cf/g10 composite handles. I may grab one myself.
Yeah, that is tempting! Is the price they’re showing in euros or dollars?
