Recommendation? Micarta question

Hi Busse Forum.
Sorry to post a new thread to ask a question. I couldn’t find an answer..

What is the name of this color micarta ? At first I thought tiger Hyde, then black , I’ve seen it before on older Busse’s. Figured I’d ask the Veterans around here. Thank you in advance! Much appreciated.

IIRC it was sold on Boss Jacks and Boss Streets as just black canvas. Early on the term "black canvas" was loosely accurate to what color the scales actually were, but never more so than that batch. The material also looks more like burlap than canvas.

Seriously though, it looks like the odd-tannish black canvas micarta Busse put on that Boss Street model - I personally liked it on mine. You've got a great knife there!

This one is going to be a keeper , and for what it’s worth TENTEX is an excellent member to deal with.

IMHO there is clearly some green and dark brown in the blade versus the other that I had.

Sure looks like the snake skin on the OG ergos to me as well.
