Had the urge to make a large Bolo today and I blanked out this bad boy! The blade is about 12in long. I used my old Jungle Knife handle shape as the base design and a sorta straighter JEST Bolo blade shape. I’m digging it enough I made sure to capture it with a pattern piece 😎

Both plus it leaves me some room to have a “knob” to help keep the blade in hand when swinging or trying to pull the blade out of something.

Finally got around to finishing this Bolo😁 18 1/2in overall of awesome!!! It’s sporting a 12 1/2in blade tip to handle and weighs in at 24oz. I used natural canvas Micarta and brass tubing for the scales. IMHO it’s quite lively in the hand. I gave it a cold blued finish.
