I got the honorable mention in this competition with my Ring Guard Bowie.
Proud to say I received an honourable mention in the Blade and Edge competition. The theme of the competition was "The Final Frontier". To see more of the ring guard bowie, goto https://www.solarstorm.ca/knives :
Hello Blade and Edge Contestants!
First and foremost, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for participating in this year's Blade and Edge Knife Making Competition. Your creativity, imagination, and craftsmanship have made this year's competition a resounding success.
It was truly incredible to witness the range of techniques and original designs submitted, demonstrating the exceptional talent within the knife making community.
As all good things must come to an end, so has our competition. Our esteemed judges, Mareko Maumasi, Geoff Feder, and Craig Lockwood of the Knife Talk Podcast, have made their decision.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the winner of the 2023 Blade and Edge Knife Making Competition:
Jeremy Filion King, with his dragon-skull inspired chef's knife design.
