How does your 4 Max Scout open? is it smooth? can you flick open it?

I have no difficulty, snapping the 4 Max open. The blade is heavy enough to overcome inertia. Just partially open-it with the thumb-studs, and flip-it open. The model pictured is one that, I modded myself, after seeing fellow member Gravelface do his.

Yeah, I need something like that. Or at least hockey tape. GI Tanto's handle sucks.

Just a short (12") CS machete, nothing fancy, no frills, bells or whistles. It chops pretty well though and has a sharpened swedge

Finally got my Pocket Bushman the way I want it. With the SnaggleToothMF added for easier 1 handed opening, and the pocket snag method for 1 handed closing, this knife has been my work horse and carry it with me most of my waking hours. From processing fruits to amazon packages, I'm quite satisfied!
