Helping a new sharpener move away from pull-thru and into a V-sharpener, who is adding two US-made m390 knives to his s30v Leatherman blade, wife's kitchen cutlery and various traditional pocket knives. I will add 2 rectangular magnet bars below Worksharp Angle Set knife sharpener's plastic base, to keep rods more securely in place. My buddy does not want to clamp anything, and feels / thinks he will not have problem holding vertical heel to tip. Simply using two tri-hone's is another positive attribute of this sharpener.
Can I buy replacement rods from your "Precision Adjust" clamp sharpener (which I put in my grand kids hands); will they fit your Angle Adjust tri-hone housing? I want 3 diamonds: 240/320, 600 and 800 for his house instead of the fine ceramic?
BTW, wish there was a simple built in way to make sure each tri-hone's stone face were presenting to knife edge the same... clicker, tiny bubble level, magnet n tiny piece of metal?
