Is it normal to have VERY sloppy markings on the blade? It is not STRIDER, but RIDER, S is non-existant and T is almost invisible. Every other marking has a shadow(from a double-tap, I guess).

Is it supposed to have a box, warranty, etc?

There is no box, waranty is implied(Strider has one of the best warantees in the buisness anyway).

The markings on mine are not lined up either.

My #022 has a great 022, a pretty good STRIDER stamp, a great flying penis, an almost non-existent S in BOS, and double stamp in S 30V.

I'm cool.

Yea penis, as in FWP or "Flying War Penis"

Guess you haven't heard that one before?

Yep!

Mine has no box, no papers, a crappy half-assed stamp (double-stamped on the S T R), a wiggly grind, an off-kilter dimple job (popping off the edge of the titanium)...

... a damn sharp blade, an insanely strong lock, a very comfortable grip, great handle-to-blade ergonomics, and a warranty that's one of the best in the industry.

;)

Yep, mine is about the same. The 'Strider' is deep and clear, so is the serial number. The FWP is all there. Half of the 'S' in Bos is missing, but Paul hasn't called me yet to complain.

Say, is this a jackknife or a beauty pagent?
