Is it just my imagination or has AB changed the description of the iMamba and Rinkhals to Stonewashed? I think maybe they switched over to stonewashed blades as standard instead of the polished. Maybe I haven’t noticed that in the description but I think it is new on their webpage.
 
I wonder how shiny the stonewash is and how the process of applying that finish differs. While the polish is a pain to keep shiny and try to avoid scratches, it is something that makes the knife really special and elevates it over a lot of others.
 
I have no idea, haven’t seen one with the new finish. I have a Rinkhals being made with the old nail nick blade and the stonewash finish. We will see when it shows up. It will probably be at least another month.
